OH-43D   (HOK-1)   129801

Around 1973-1974 seen on outside display  with heavyly modified tailsection (by Kaman, during various MARINES trials) and with BuNo. 129801 painted on the booms. Photo taken and provided by Mr. Sean Carroll.
During 1974 the airframe was overhauled and repainted in the Museum shop and the whole tail-section of 125530 (including it's BuNo. painted on the booms) was mounted to the 129801 body. This ‘530 tailsection showed the original HOK tail-configuration (aircraft 125530 crashed – the tail was recovered) (source :  Mr. Sean Carroll, at that time a volunteer of the NewEngland -Bradley-Air Museum )

Photo of airframe 129801 with tailbooms of 125530 , taken in May 1975 (unknown photographer, coll.  Johan Ragay)

The aircraft remained on outside display until the tornado disaster of   3 Oct 1979 ; there after the airframe - without tailboom was put in storage (for pictures please visit Mr. Sean Carroll 's website )

The following two pictures were taken by Mr. Jerry VanGrunsven during a visit to shop of the New England Air Museum,
Windsor Locks, CT on 05 August 2006. The airframe was packed up and was accessable in a better way than presented.
